?Ali al-Akbar (peace be upon him) was the eldest son of Imam Husain (peace be upon him). His mother was known as Layla. He was born in the year 33 AH.

?He resembled his maternal grandfather Muhammad (peace be upon him and his pure progeny), the prophet of Allah, so much that Imam Husain (peace be upon him) often said, "whenever I happen to miss my maternal grandfather I look at the face of Ali al-Akbar."

⚜️ H. Ali Akbar (peace be upon him) learned the skills of the battle from H. Abbas ibn Ali (peace be upon them). Like H. Abbas, H. Ali Akbar (peace be upon them) was also a ferocious, brave yet obedient warrior in the ranks on Imam Husain (peace be upon him). He was a teenager, only 18 years old when he attained the lofty status of martyrdom.

♥️He was indeed the life of Imam Husain (peace be upon him) as Umar Sa’d said on the battlefield while ordering his soldiers to attack H. Ali Akbar (peace be upon him) in groups; "When he dies, Husain will not want to live! Ali Akbar is the life of Husain." It was only after the martyrdom of this brave son of the Imam, that the Imam cursed the enemy.

? On this blessed day, we ask Allah for the sake of this blessed son to hasten the reappearance of our Imam and to help the youth to attain the qualities of Ali Akbar (peace be upon him)

Imam Husain (peace be upon him) said: O people! Bear witness that I’m sending a person towards you who is the most similar to the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure progeny) in terms of looks, words, thoughts, and actions.
